During this training, they become well informed with evaluation procedures, providing education and follow-up patient-doctor services. Who is eligible to get medical marijuana in Florida?  (tetrahydrocannabinol) cannabis. The Florida Department of Health has left it up to doctors to decide whether they will also recommend cannabis to qualified patients diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition listed in Amendment 2, like cancer, epilepsy, Crohn's disease, HIV/AIDS, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease or PTSD; Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to the others listed or Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualifying medical condition and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition.

Medical marijuana products are offered in two forms in Florida: THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) products and a CBD (cannabidiol) cannabis oil. The laws allow patients to use cannabis pills, oils, edibles, and vaporizers or smokable with a doctor's approval.
