Certification Evaluation

Compassionate care doctors do a cursory exam and review your qualifications for the Medical Marijuana Registry program

At your certification appointment, the marijuana doctor, cannabis nurse or compassionate care clinic will discuss your options for certification of a medical condition that may qualify you for a Medical Marijuana Card.

After review and approval, qualified patients will receive a signed Certification Form that will allow them to apply to their state Medical Marijuana Registry for a medical card.

Evaluation and certification is the fourth step. Your medical marijuana doctor will consult with you and review the medical documentation. If it's determined that medical condition is a qualified condition for medical marijuana under state law, certification approval will be granted, thus allowing you to apply to the state Medical Marijuana Registry, the entity that issues the actual medical marijuana card.
