Dr. Melanie Johnson, M.D. certifies patients for Minnesota’s Medical Cannabis Program. Patients must be enrolled in the program to legally purchase and possess medical cannabis in the State of Minnesota. Qualification is simple. You must live in Minnesota, have an e-mail address and suffer from one of the 16 “qualifying medical conditions” listed in the tab below.
Dr. Johnson is a licensed, board-certified physician registered with the Minnesota Department of Health’s Office of Medical Cannabis. Dr. Johnson received her MD from Mayo Medical School and worked as a family doctor at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, for 14 years before starting her private practice, The Green Clinic.

Also, you don’t have to be terminally ill to get relief from your pain/symptoms – 97% of the 18,249 patients actively enrolled in Minnesota's Medical Cannabis Program are certified for intractable pain, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and/or severe and persistent muscle spasms (MN Department of Health January 2020 Update).
