In part 1 of Senior Access to Medical Marijuana, the use of current technology by seniors in the form of smart phones, tablets, and computers as a way to conveniently and quickly access online directories and referral services ( was discussed. But what about those not current with today’s technology? How do those seniors get connected?

One way is to have a friend or family member knowledgeable in the use of today’s technology assist with accessing the online resources. A second way to connect with a medical marijuana physician is to tap into one’s own network. Asking doctors and other health professionals, family, and friends is effective in accessing more trusted resources.

Trying to find a medical marijuana doctor without the use of today’s technology can be tricky. But as they say, “where there’s a will there’s a way”, and it is imperative that  all prospective medical marijuana patients be able to find it.
